1. Signature Wine Tasting

Have a tour of the courtyard of Dourakis Winery, the botanical garden, and then to the production and storage area of wines, to learn all the secrets of production and bottling. Then have a tasting of 5 different wines accompanied by delicious Cretan rusks and olives from the winery's garden.

2. Connoisseur  Wine Tasting

Have a tour of the courtyard of Dourakis Winery, the botanical garden, and then to the production and storage area of Dourakis Winery wines, to learn all the secrets of production and bottling. Then have a tasting of 8 different premium wines accompanied by delicious Cretan rusks and olives from the winery's garden.

3. The Whole Universe in a Glass of Wine

With amateur astronomer and a member of the Crete Astronomers Friends Club, Christos Sotiropoulos we travel back in time to the Mythology of the constellations that are connected to the wine. From Dionysos to Ikarion and Stafylos, we weave with the thread of mythology the constellations of the summer sky. Weather permitting we will observe planets like bright red Mars, Saturn – the lord of the rings and other beautiful treasures of the night sky through a powerful telescope.
The price includes a glass of wine and a mini snack.

4. Wine Meal

The traditional tastes of Crete meet the wines of Dourakis winery in a unique tour, which starts from the yard of the winery, goes to the botanical garden, and then to the production and storage of the wines, where all the secrets of wine-making and bottling are revealed. Afterward, in the specially designed area of ​​wine tasting follows a unique matching of wine and food with four different wines to combine perfectly with four different traditional dishes, depending on the time of year.

5. Cooking Workshop at Dourakis Winery

Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin said that “the discovery of a new dish contributes more to human happiness than the discovery of a new star,” so we invite you to discover together. Come to discover the new and traditional tastes of Crete. Ms. Georgia is waiting for you every day with her apron in the winery’s kitchen to teach you patiently and lovingly how to make Sfakiani pie, moustalevria, Chania boureki, and many other dishes, always beautifully combined with the right wine.
